Occupational Therapist Specializing in Geriatric Care

Job Summary
This role offers a unique opportunity to work in a specialist geriatric dementia unit, providing high-level professional judgment and clinical leadership. As a Senior Occupational Therapist, you will be responsible for the clinical management of patients with complex needs, working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.
About the Role
- Provide high-level professional judgement, clinical reasoning, and skills to the clinical management of patients with significant levels of complexity.
- Work with a broad and diverse range of health professionals within South Australia's largest health system.
- Provide clinical leadership, education, coordination, and support for patients, staff, and agencies.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development and implementation of care plans that meet the individual needs of patients.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care.
- Contribute to the development of policies and procedures that promote best practice in occupational therapy.
Requirements
- An appropriate Degree or equivalent which entitles registration as an Occupational Therapist by the Occupational Therapy Board of Australia (OTBA) and Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
