Scientific Officer Role Overview

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform high-quality respiratory function tests and investigations, utilizing equipment and procedures for cardiopulmonary assessments.
  • Contribute to the effective operation of the Lung Function Laboratory, ensuring seamless workflows and efficient diagnostic processes.
  • Support diagnosis, monitoring, and management of respiratory conditions through comprehensive patient care and attention to detail.
Essential Qualifications and Skills:
  1. Bachelor's degree in Science or an equivalent field.
  2. Excellent communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
  3. Proficiency with specialized equipment and procedures for cardiopulmonary investigations.
  4. Attention to detail, administrative skills, and time management abilities to ensure optimal workflow and productivity.
  5. Commitment to quality improvement and ongoing professional development.

While possession of the Certified Respiratory Function Scientist (CRFS) credential is desirable, it is not mandatory for this position.
