Job Description:
As a Personal Carer, you will be responsible for providing personal, physical and emotional support to our residents. This may include assisting with personal care, meals, nursing plans, and activities. You will also establish and maintain collaborative relationships within the service and members of the external health care team.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a caring and compassionate nature, with the ability to provide physical and emotional support to our residents. You will also need to be able to work collaboratively as part of a team and establish effective relationships with colleagues and external healthcare professionals.
Benefits:
We offer a range of benefits to our employees, including paid employment under our Enterprise Agreement, a Training Contract with a registered training provider, and paid time to complete the training on the job. We also offer our own induction, training and support program over the first year.
What's Involved:
As a Personal Carer, you will be required to work a minimum of 15 hours per week on a permanent part-time contract. You will also be required to commit to the training and study that is delivered online via zoom virtual sessions, as well as any reading and written work required. There will also be opportunities to work additional hours and participate in paid training blocks.

Our Aged Care facility at Immanuel Gardens Buderim is a stunning coastal sanctuary nestled in the heart of the Sunshine Coast. We specialise in personalised aged care services focused on individual wellbeing and an enriched quality of life.
What Does a Personal Carer Do?
As a Personal Carer, you will be responsible for providing quality care to our residents, including providing personal, physical and emotional support, assisting with personal care, meals, nursing plans, and activities, and establishing and maintaining collaborative relationships within the service and members of the external health care team.
