We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Commercial Property Lawyer to join our growing practice. This full-time role offers quality work, a supportive culture, and the opportunity to enjoy the lifestyle benefits of the Sunshine Coast.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Advise clients across a broad range of complex commercial property transactions, including acquisitions and disposals of commercial, industrial and retail property, retail and commercial leasing, property structuring and titling arrangements, easements, covenants, and land use issues, property disputes such as encroachments, loans and Mortgages
  • Play a lead role in advising clients on business sales, corporate advisory or contract drafting

You will be supported by a high-performing team of lawyers, paralegals, and administrative staff, and have access to established systems and processes.

You will act for a range of clients, including small to medium-sized businesses and have access to established referral networks and a loyal client base.

Requirements:
  • 5-10 years post-admission experience (PAE) as a commercial property law solicitor
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • A client-focused and solution-oriented mindset
  • Strong commercial acumen and a practical approach
  • A strong work ethic and solid employment history
  • Excellent drafting, negotiation and communication skills
  • Proficiency with legal practice software and customer relationship management tools
  • Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a team
  • An interest in building client relationships and the ability to generate work from existing clients, including working with the marketing department to identify potential growth opportunities
