Mercer is seeking a highly skilled Risk Governance Specialist to join our team in Melbourne or Sydney.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert review and uplift of Risk & Compliance Frameworks for Mercer Super.
  • Develop and implement risk management strategies to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with the business to provide training and grow capability in risk and compliance.
  • Review industry developments and consider impacts on the risk environment and Frameworks.

Requirements:

  • At least 5-10 years of experience in risk, compliance, or legal roles, with a focus on Superannuation Funds.
  • Proven track record of developing and reviewing Framework and Policy documents.
  • Experience working in a regulated financial services business, with expertise in interpreting and translating legislative and prudential requirements.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to operate with executives and senior leaders.
