We are seeking a skilled and motivated Occupational Therapy Graduate to join our team in the Division of Rehabilitation, Aged and Palliative Care.
About the RoleThis is an exceptional opportunity for a recent Occupational Therapy graduate to kickstart their career in a rotational position that offers exposure to a diverse range of subacute services including rehabilitation, GEM (Geriatric Evaluation and Management), and palliative care.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct assessments and interventions to enhance the independence and occupational outcomes of our inpatients and outpatients;
- Collaborate in team meetings and case conferences to ensure holistic patient care;
- Document assessment findings and interventions in a timely and accurate manner;
- Engage in performance appraisal processes to foster professional growth;
- Able to undertake assessment and intervention with patients with a range of illness and disabilities relevant to older people and rehabilitation;
- Effective in time management, organisational and supervision skills;
- Strong in communication and teamwork abilities;
A degree or equivalent qualification which entitles registration as an Occupational Therapist with the Occupational Therapy Board of Australia is essential for this role.
