About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Swim Program Supervisor to join our team at Macquarie University. As a key member of our Aquatics Centre team, you will be responsible for the day-to-day running of our Learn to Swim program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and ensure the smooth delivery of Learn to Swim lessons, maintaining a high level of customer service to parents and swimmers.
  • Identify and resolve complaints and situations using problem-solving and decision-making tools, promoting positive customer service.
  • Assist in developing strategies to improve team cohesion and performance within the department.
  • Support the Aquatics Coordinator with program management, including rostering, timetabling, and responding to enquiries.
Requirements
  • Experience in teaching all levels and age groups of Learn to Swim and water safety instruction.
  • Planning and organizing skills, ideally in swim programming.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment and independently.
