Job Overview:

This leadership role involves providing high-level coordination and advisory services in managing external relationships.

You will directly support senior executives and the Board in their engagements with Ministers and senior stakeholders.

Main Accountabilities:

  • Providing Strategic Guidance: Offer high-level strategic guidance to senior executives and the Board on stakeholder engagement and government relations initiatives.
  • Cultivating Relationships: Develop and maintain effective relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders, including Ministers, government officials, market bodies, and industry advocates.
  • Fostering Engagement: Lead the development and implementation of strategic engagement plans and provide expert advice on engagement activities.
  • Working with Agility: Manage competing priorities and multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Your ability to quickly analyze information and make timely decisions will be key to success.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Stakeholder engagement and government relations experience within a government context.
  • Providing strategic guidance and managing government relations initiatives for senior leaders.
  • Developing time-sensitive briefings and other key communications.
  • Maintaining senior executive relationships with stakeholders.
