Job Title: Cyber Security Operations Manager
Job Description:The Cyber Security Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the Threat Hunt, Detection Engineering and Automation capabilities for Defence systems. This role requires managing and providing subject matter expertise to technical cyber security teams.
Key Responsibilities:- Managing detection development across complex cyber terrain;
- Identifying opportunities and overseeing automation development to increase visibility and reduce analyst response times;
- Lead complex problem solving and coordination activities in support of time-sensitive operational outcomes;
- Building team capability through coaching, feedback and mentoring activities to build resiliency and technical competency.
A proven leader with strong communication, interpersonal and collaboration skills to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders. Experience in leading cyber security operations teams and capabilities is essential. The ideal candidate will possess well-developed analytical skills, experience in stakeholder engagement and the ability to explain complex concepts in plain language.
