Job Description
Company Overview
Our clients are seeking talented and experienced healthcare professionals in various allied health disciplines, including physiotherapy, occupational therapy, speech pathology, and psychology.
Key Responsibilities
- Assessing and providing interventions for children & adults living with a range of disabilities.
- Conducting patient assessments and developing personalized treatment plans based on individual needs.
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and effective patient care.
- Monitoring and evaluating patient progress, making adjustments to treatment plans as necessary.
- Working within the NDIS to maximize clients' level of function, capacity & social engagement.
- Assisting clients with assistive technology assessment, recommendations, and applications (in relevant fields).
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records while maintaining patient confidentiality.
- Participating in professional development and continuing education opportunities.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant Allied Health discipline, such as Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Speech Pathology or Psychology.
- Registration or eligibility for registration with the relevant professional body in Australia (e.g., AHPRA, SPA).
- Experience working in a healthcare setting, preferably with a diverse range of patients and conditions.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- A commitment to ongoing professional development and quality improvement.
- Eligibility to work in Australia.
