Job OverviewThis is a permanent employment opportunity for a Heavy Diesel Fitter with extensive experience in conducting planned and breakdown maintenance and repairs to predominantly CAT 797 and 793 Trucks.
The successful candidate will work on a 7 days on, 7 days off, 7 nights on, 7 nights off roster, with FIFO arrangements from Brisbane, Cairns, Townsville to Moranbah.
Responsibilities- Perform planned and breakdown maintenance on various mobile plant and equipment, with a strong emphasis on CAT knowledge.
- Conduct inspections and repairs on equipment as per maintenance strategies.
- Execute work orders as per schedule to a high standard.
- Scope and create 1SAP notifications for preventative work.
- Contribute to a positive team culture and maintain a high degree of safety at all times.
- You hold a trade qualification as a Heavy Diesel Fitter.
- You have previous experience in mining, working on CAT 797 or 793 or T282.
- You possess excellent diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
- You are a team-focused individual with a high regard for safety in the workplace.
- You can work effectively within a diverse team.
A competitive remuneration package, including an estimated salary of $120,000 - $180,000 AUD per annum, depending on experience.
