Principal Discipline Engineer - Mechanical

The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical engineering design skills, with the ability to work autonomously and engage effectively with internal and external stakeholders. A background in major projects, EPCM project delivery, and site operations is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review and optimize engineering design for effectiveness and efficiency
  • Ensure compliance with legislations, engineering standards, and asset engineering standards
  • Identify and implement cost efficiencies into the design
  • Integrate internal lessons learned and external best practices across the project
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Relevant experience in mechanical engineering design and ability to work autonomously
  • Strong experience with design of process plants
  • Ability to engage and influence internal and external stakeholders, consultants, and contractors
  • Good technical and communication skills, including the ability to analyse data and produce concise reports and presentations
  • Solutions focused with a proactive approach to problem solving
