About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Kitchen Hand at Next Gen Health & Lifestyle Clubs. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment, ensuring food hygiene and health and safety compliance, and providing exceptional service to our members.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Clean and maintain the kitchen, including washing dishes, sanitizing equipment, and disposing of waste.
  • Food Preparation: Assist with food preparation, including chopping vegetables, marinating meats, and plating dishes.
  • Stock Management: Maintain stock levels, including ordering and receiving supplies, and ensuring that all kitchen equipment is in good working order.
  • Team Support: Assist with clearing and maintaining the lounge area, and provide support to other team members as needed.
Requirements:
  • Experience: Prior kitchen experience is essential, with a strong understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.
  • Availability: Availability to work early mornings, late nights, and weekends is required.
  • Personal Qualities: Takes impeccable pride in their appearance and personal hygiene, and adheres to exceptional service standards.
  • Communication: Holds a clear understanding of both written and spoken English.
