We are seeking a skilled Water Resources Professional to join our team. As a Hydrogeologist, you will be responsible for conducting fieldwork programs, analyzing groundwater and geological data, and developing conceptual models of groundwater flow. You will also prepare informative maps, tables, and figures, and contribute to the preparation of technical reports.
Key Responsibilities- Design and execution of fieldwork programs, including drilling supervision, geotechnical logging, soil testing, sampling, and monitoring
- Critical analysis and assessment of groundwater and geological data
- Geospatial and 3D analysis using GIS and Leapfrog software
- Conceptual assessment of groundwater flow, fate, and transport
- Quantitative groundwater assessments using analytical and numerical modeling tools
- Bachelor's degree in geology, earth science, geochemistry, or engineering
- Postgraduate MSc in hydrogeology (preferred)
- At least 2 years of direct consulting experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong GIS skills in ArcGIS, QGIS, or Surfer
- Experience with multi-disciplinary project teams
- Ability to succeed in a fast-paced consulting environment
