Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at First Peoples' Health and Wellbeing. As a Practice Nurse, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality clinical services and patient care in a culturally safe and welcoming environment. Your key responsibilities will include conducting health assessments, creating care plans, assisting with procedures, and providing immunisations. You will also contribute to maintaining AGPAL accreditation of the clinic and provide medical administration support such as triaging clients and taking phone calls.
About You
We are looking for a friendly and respectful person with strong organisational skills, ability to multi-task and prioritise tasks. You will be passionate about working in the Aboriginal primary health care sector and commit to providing exceptional care with compassion. You will be skilled and professional, able to build strong relationships and trust with the people you work with and provide services to.
Benefits
Our benefits include salary packaging up to $15,899, CPD and other Professional Development and Wellbeing Activities, working within a small and supportive team, and no after hours or weekend work. You will also have the opportunity to work with a supportive team of Nurses, Allied Health Professionals, General Practitioners and Medical Administration Officers who are passionate about providing health services to First Nations People.
Requirements
Essential requirements include AHPRA Registered Div 1 Nurse, Working with Children's Check, Police check and Drivers Licence. Desirable qualifications include Additional qualifications such as Nurse Immuniser, Diabetes Nurse Educator or similar, and experience using Best Practice or similar medical software.
