Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage project scope, budgets, schedules, and quality requirements as outlined in project handover documentation.
  • Conduct detailed reviews of project baselines within agreed timeframes.
  • Mobilise high-performing project teams and ensure clear internal responsibilities for specific project deliverables.
  • Apply risk and opportunity methodologies to optimise project outcomes.
  • Communicate and report regularly with key clients to meet contractual requirements and achieve project goals.
  • Develop and manage project planning and management documentation.
  • Participate in bid and tender efforts to reduce project risks and streamline execution.
  • Execute projects within a defined framework and continuously monitor and improve performance.
Ideal Attributes:
  • Demonstrate knowledge and expertise in rail signaling design, signal construction, and signal design management.
  • Expertise in a similar role with experience gained in the rail industry including signalling design / construction.
  • Strong interest in project control techniques, earned value management, S-curve reporting, risk and opportunity management, and project financial forecasting.
  • Familiarity with MS Project, Primavera P6, or equivalent scheduling software.
  • Sound understanding of PMBoK, Prince2, Agile, or other appropriate project management methodology.
