Early Childhood Educator Opportunity

We are seeking an Early Childhood Educator to join our kindergarten team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality early childhood education and care to children aged 3-5 years.

About the Role

This is a temporary role based at North Essendon Kindergarten, working Monday and Wednesday from 8am to 2:50pm. The educator will work collaboratively with a team of qualified and experienced educators to deliver engaging programs that cater to the needs of all children.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with children, families and colleagues.
  • Initiate and promote warm and intentional interactions with children as a key learning strategy.
  • Contribute to the development and delivery of curriculums within the learning program.

The ideal candidate will have a Certificate III in Children's Services or equivalent, as recognised by the Department of Education and Training. They will also possess a great understanding of Child Safe Standards, National Quality Framework and curriculum frameworks.

A valid Working With Children Check, First Aid Level 2, CPR Certificate, Anaphylaxis Management and Emergency Asthma Management certificates are also required.
