Family Day Care Educator

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Family Day Care Educator to join our team in the Eastern suburbs of Melbourne. As a Family Day Care Educator, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality early childhood education and care to children in their own homes.

About the Role:

This is a fixed-term position until December 2024, commencing in Term 2 (April). The successful candidate will work full-time, providing educational programs and care to children aged 0-5 years.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To plan, implement and evaluate educational programs for children in line with the National Quality Framework and Early Years Learning Framework
  • To provide high-quality care and education to children in their own homes, promoting their physical, emotional, social and cognitive development
  • To work collaboratively with parents and carers to ensure children's individual needs are met
  • To maintain accurate records and reports as required by regulatory bodies

Requirements:

  • Diploma of Early Childhood Education or equivalent qualifications
  • Working Rights for Australia (or eligibility to gain), including Skilled Migrant Visa and possible WHV
  • Hold or be eligible for a Working With Children's Check
