Key Responsibilities

The primary focus of this role is to deliver high-quality, culturally sensitive patient care within a multidisciplinary team environment.

  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide short-term, episodic care for urgent conditions that are not immediately life-threatening.
  • Conduct thorough triage and assessment of patients to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families to promote optimal health outcomes.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance the delivery of patient care.

To succeed in this position, applicants should possess recent experience working in emergency departments and triage environments. The ability to adapt to new situations and upskill is also essential.

This role operates on weekdays from 10:00am to 6:00pm and weekends from 12:00pm to 4:00pm. Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people are encouraged to apply.
