We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Insurance Litigation Support Specialist to join our team at Empire Group. As a key member of our Insurance Litigation team, you will play a critical role in supporting our lawyers and clients in the preparation and management of insurance litigation matters.
Key Responsibilities- Preparation of lists of documents and evidence
- Drafting and preparing correspondence and legal documents
- Liaising with clients and stakeholders to ensure timely and effective communication
- Actioning instructions from authors and lawyers
- Proofreading and formatting all correspondence and legal documents
- Screening calls and managing the team's diary
- File management and organization
- Monthly billings and financial management
- Making travel arrangements and organizing client conferences and meetings
- Scheduling conferences and mediations
- Preparation of Medicare forms and conference forms
- Organizing medico-legal appointments and brief preparation
- Trial preparation and disclosure of documents
- General administrative duties
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in a legal secretarial role
- Experience in litigation and/or insurance is essential
- Intermediate Word skills and a minimum of 60 wpm typing speed
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Negotiable salary dependent on experience (between $70,000 - $88,000 + Superannuation + performance bonus)
- Flexible work arrangements, including the option to work from home 2 days a week
- Opportunity to work with a reputable and established law firm in the Brisbane CBD
