Part-Time Practitioner

About the Role

We are seeking part-time practitioners to play a critical role in the delivery of the After-Hours Service. As a key member of our team, you will provide support to clients, staff, and external stakeholders outside of business hours.

In this role, you will work in partnership with foster carers, children, and young people, as well as local authorities and government agencies to respond to emergent issues arising afterhours.

Reporting to a team manager for after-hours services, you will use key practice frameworks to provide guidance and direction to staff working outside of business hours in response to critical situations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide crisis intervention and support to callers
  • Respond to emergent situations requiring immediate attention
  • Collaborate with foster carers, children, and young people to ensure their safety and well-being

Requirements:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Experience working with vulnerable populations
