Acute Care Nurse Specialist

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Acute Care RN to join our team at Salt Medical Recruitment. As a key member of our nursing pool, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced acute care environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care to patients with acute medical conditions, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical and emotional needs, and develop plans to address these needs.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, and monitor patients for adverse reactions.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
Requirements:
- 2-5 years of experience in acute care nursing, with a strong background in general adult and pediatric care.
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse in the state of practice.
- Ability to work a 7-day rotating roster, including AM, PM, and night shifts.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
