About the Role

As a Retail and Tourism Team Leader, you will provide effective supervision and support to a small team to carry out day-to-day operations. You will assist in maintaining a high-quality standard to achieve business outcomes and provide excellent customer service, ensuring repeat business in the restaurant.

This role will focus on providing specific coaching, sometimes on a one-to-one basis, enabling employees with a disability to develop skills that meet key performance outcomes for the hospitality and retail business services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support employees to effectively deliver hospitality products and services to customers and ensure daily restaurant procedures are met.
  • Work collaboratively with team members to share knowledge that assists Supported Employees to develop skills and to achieve their employment goals.
  • Provide effective operational leadership that increases team productivity and creates a positive values-focused culture.
  • Engage customers and create a positive experience within the hospitality space.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and manner, keeping the working environment and tools/equipment of the trade clear and organized.
