Job Summary:

The Pathology Collector is a key role in delivering high-quality patient care, requiring exceptional customer service and organizational skills.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Collecting blood samples with precision and attention to detail
  • Coordinating specimen samples from patients and maintaining accurate records
  • Meeting strict turnaround times for documentation delivery
  • Preparing and packaging specimens for transport and testing
  • Collaborating with customers, clinic staff, and couriers to ensure seamless operations
Requirements:
  • Proven experience and knowledge in Phlebotomy/Certificate III in Pathology Collection or a healthcare background
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a high level of empathy
  • Strong time management and organizational abilities, with a focus on attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently, sometimes in a solo clinic setting
  • Valid Driver's license and flexibility to travel to multiple clinics
  • Working with Children's Check or willingness to obtain one
  • Australian citizenship or permanent residency, or valid visa with permission to work
  • Vaccine preventable disease evidence, such as Hepatitis B
  • Other vaccinations based on location may be required
