Work as a Medical Registrar in Intensive Care Unit at Bunbury Health Campus.
">Job DescriptionThe ICUnit at the campus operates in 2 pods, totaling up to 8 beds. It admits adult general surgical and medical patients for both intensive care and high dependency care. The unit is the only regional ICU in WA and averages patient admissions per year. In addition to its core functions, the ICU provides an ICU Outreach Service including MET and Code Blue Response, patient transport, and retrieval.
The ICUnit has opportunities available for accredited rotation through anaesthetics, paediatrics, general medicine, and ED. Bunbury Hospital is also accredited for Australian Medical Council Work-based Assessment (WBA) for eligible applicants.
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Medical Registrar to join our team in Intensive Care Unit at Bunbury Health Campus.
">Required Skills and Qualifications- Hold or be eligible for Registration with the Australian Medical Board
- Be at least PGY3 level
- Six months experience in Critical Care Medicine at a registrar level is preferred (Emergency; ICU or Anaesthetics)
Candidates with experience from Australia or a comparable health system are preferred.
