Financial Analyst - Industrial Sector

As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in shaping the financial future of our organization. We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Analyst to join our dynamic team and contribute to our mission of growth and development.

The successful candidate will have strong analytical skills and be able to prepare and analyze financial reports to support business decision-making. They will also be responsible for managing fixed assets, collaborating with departments, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and company policies.

We are looking for someone with a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, and professional qualifications such as CPA or CA (or working towards them). Strong communication skills and attention to detail are essential for this role.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and analyze financial reports to support business decision-making.
  • Manage fixed assets: capitalisations, disposals, and depreciation.
  • Collaborate with departments to provide insights on financial performance.
  • Analyze and process workshop recharges and stock movement journals.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
  • Assist in streamlining processes for efficiency within the accounting team.
  • Complete monthly BAS returns and support FBT documentation.
  • Provide financial advice and recommendations to key stakeholders.
  • Assist with annual budgeting and liaise with external auditors.
  • Support strategic business planning through data-driven analysis.
Requirements:
  • A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Professional qualifications such as CPA or CA (or working towards them).
  • Strong analytical skills with a focus on financial modelling and reporting.
  • Experience in the industrial sector will be advantageous.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Excellent communication skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
