Job Title: Senior HSE Advisor

We are seeking a highly experienced health and safety professional to join our team on a large-scale project.

  • The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of experience in the mining industry, including construction projects.
  • They must hold a Diploma in Occupational/Work Health & Safety, Lead Auditor qualification, and ICAM Lead Investigator certification.
  • A strong understanding of safety management systems and legislative obligations is essential.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Act as a health and safety subject matter expert, guiding teams to apply industry best practice and meet regulatory requirements.
  2. Influence positive safety behaviours and practical outcomes through coaching, mentorship, and leadership across all levels of the project.
  3. Collaborate with contractor management to ensure alignment with site-specific safety requirements.
  4. Lead and participate in incident investigations, including root cause analysis, reporting, and implementation of effective corrective actions.
  5. Monitor and report on health and safety performance trends and compliance.
  6. Maintain accurate records and documentation.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Relevant qualifications and certifications.
  • Extensive experience in the mining industry, specifically in construction projects.
