Job DescriptionAs a Rehabilitation Consultant, you will be part of a multidisciplinary team that values collaboration, support, and fun. You will work closely with clients, employers, and healthcare professionals to develop and implement injury prevention and workplace education programs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Case management and caseload management with support from Rehabilitation Assistants
- Applying clinical knowledge to improve return-to-work outcomes
- Developing and implementing injury prevention and workplace education programs
- Collaborating with injured workers, employers, medical, and allied health professionals
- Completing assessments using clinical and discipline-specific skills, such as Functional Capacity Evaluations, Worksite Assessments, Ergonomic Assessments, and Activities of Daily Living Assessments
- Delivering the innovative virtual reality pain education program, Re-thinking Recovery
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Tertiary qualification in Exercise Physiology or Physiotherapy
- Professional Registration with either ESSA or AHPRA
- Previous experience in Occupational Rehabilitation is highly regarded
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
- Compassion, kindness, and empathy
- Strong time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks
- A current valid Driver's License and access to a reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance
