Job Description

As a Rehabilitation Consultant, you will be part of a multidisciplinary team that values collaboration, support, and fun. You will work closely with clients, employers, and healthcare professionals to develop and implement injury prevention and workplace education programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Case management and caseload management with support from Rehabilitation Assistants
  • Applying clinical knowledge to improve return-to-work outcomes
  • Developing and implementing injury prevention and workplace education programs
  • Collaborating with injured workers, employers, medical, and allied health professionals
  • Completing assessments using clinical and discipline-specific skills, such as Functional Capacity Evaluations, Worksite Assessments, Ergonomic Assessments, and Activities of Daily Living Assessments
  • Delivering the innovative virtual reality pain education program, Re-thinking Recovery
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Tertiary qualification in Exercise Physiology or Physiotherapy
  • Professional Registration with either ESSA or AHPRA
  • Previous experience in Occupational Rehabilitation is highly regarded
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
  • Compassion, kindness, and empathy
  • Strong time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks
  • A current valid Driver's License and access to a reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance
