Role Overview

This is a key position within our operations team where you will be responsible for collecting and returning trolleys to the store.

As a Trolley Collection Driver, you will work closely with your team to ensure that our stores are well-stocked and presented in an appealing manner to our customers.

  • You will drive a vehicle to collect trolleys from car parks and surrounding suburbs, then push them up a ramp onto the collection vehicle.
  • Additionally, you will collect trolleys left in and around the store and return them to the designated bays.
  • Pre-start and handover routines for the vehicle must also be carried out according to safety and operational procedures.
  • Furthermore, you will be required to follow all road rules and report any issues related to unretrievable trolleys.
  • Cleaning and waste disposal tasks may also be part of your duties.
  • Full training will be provided in operating our vehicles and equipment.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • An ambitious mindset, coupled with a passion for retail and working with people.
  • A full (unrestricted) Australian drivers licence or Provisional P2 drivers licence (Green P Plates) or International drivers Licence.
  • Good physical fitness is essential for this role, as you will be engaging in physical activity throughout your shift.
  • Availability to work across Monday-Sunday, including shifts starting from 6am or 4pm.
  • A strong work ethic and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
