Job Opportunity in the Sports Sector

This exciting role offers a unique chance to work in the sports industry, helping to develop, celebrate, and advocate for sport in New South Wales.

The ideal candidate will have experience in administration, communication, digital media, customer service, and/or event management. A background in the sports sector would be an advantage.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Event Management: plan and execute events, including educational seminars, conferences, and awards ceremonies;
  • Operations and Administration: manage membership databases, website content, social media channels, and office operations;
  • Communication: create and distribute external communications, prepare reports, and liaise with stakeholders;

Key Skills:

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and project management skills;
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team;

The successful candidate will possess relevant tertiary qualifications or current study in business, marketing, communications, or sports administration. We are a flexible workplace, welcoming applicants with varying needs. The role requires some infrequent out-of-hours work and occasional travel within NSW. A competitive remuneration package will be offered to the successful candidate.
