Electrical Estimator and Installation Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Estimator and Installation Specialist to support our growth in the estimating and proposal process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with field-based teams to gather and verify site-specific information.
- Prepare accurate cost estimates and formal client proposals for EV charging and solar PV installations.
- Interpret and work with CAD drawings and liaise with the internal design team to ensure alignment between designs and estimates.
- Ensure proposals are technically compliant with relevant regulations and aligned with client requirements and project objectives.
- Conduct site visits across the UK to validate survey data and support bid development.
- Work with the supply chain and subcontractors to obtain quotations and identify value engineering opportunities.
- Stay up-to-date with industry standards, best practices, and regulatory requirements.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an estimator in the EV charging infrastructure and solar PV sectors.
- Minimum NVQ Level 3 Diploma in Electrical Installation and/or City & Guilds 2921.
- Hold BS 7671 (18th Edition Wiring Regulations) qualification.
- In-depth knowledge of IET Wiring Regulations and the IET Code of Practice for EV Charging Equipment Installation.
