Role Overview

As a Delivery Coach at Suncorp Group, you will play a crucial role in guiding and empowering teams to deliver exceptional value to stakeholders. Your primary focus will be on fostering self-organization and adaptability within geographically dispersed teams. This senior position requires you to influence and advise various stakeholders, delivery leads, and teams, showcasing your expertise in coaching and facilitation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Enhance the capabilities of Suncorp teams in Agile methodologies and principles.
  • Mentor and develop team members through effective coaching and professional growth initiatives.
  • Provide opportunities for coaching and mentoring in Agile ways of working.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to leadership teams within the organization.
  • Coach staff at all levels on the implementation and sustainability of Agile practices.
  • Collaborate with leadership to promote strategies that cultivate an Agile culture.
  • Guide teams in business planning and decision-making using Agile Demand Management principles.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Business Management, Business IT, or Project Management, with Agile or related delivery frameworks being essential.
  • Experience in the Insurance sector, particularly with large-scale programs, is highly desirable.
  • Strong knowledge and practical experience in Agile and lean methodologies.
  • A minimum of 5-10 years in Agile delivery, demonstrating a successful track record.
  • Proven leadership experience in influencing stakeholders across various levels.
  • Ability to contribute strategically to departmental goals.
  • Experience leading teams through transformative changes.
  • Expertise in Agile & Lean practices and change management is essential.
  • Comprehensive understanding of Project and Portfolio Management methodologies.
  • Familiarity with Change and Release Management processes.
