About the Role

The Floor Clinical Coordinator plays a pivotal role in ensuring seamless theatre operations. This involves leveraging leadership qualities to implement innovative strategies that optimize resource allocation and deliver exceptional patient care and service to visiting medical officers (VMOs).

Key Responsibilities
  • Liaise with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate theatre schedules and workflows for optimal efficiency.
  • Develop and implement process improvements to enhance patient care and operational efficiency.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports to support facility operations and strategic planning.
  • Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement strategic plans for theatre operations.
Requirements
  • AHPRA registration is mandatory.
  • Minimum 5 years of postgraduate operating room experience is required.
  • Postgraduate qualifications in perioperative nursing are preferred.
  • Excellent problem-solving, leadership, and interpersonal skills are essential.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills are necessary.
  • Intermediate computer proficiency is required.
