The Kindy Uplift Advisors role involves supporting non-aligned early childhood centres in Queensland through the Kindy Uplift pilot program.

This Fixed Term Contract, Fulltime position requires regular travel across the state, including overnight stays.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework and Queensland Kindergarten Learning Guidelines, as well as a passion for strengthening Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander perspectives throughout early years services.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Program management: Support centres to develop, evidence, review and approve Kindy uplift plans.
  • Collaboration: Work cross-functionally with key stakeholders, including C&K, Lady Gowrie Queensland, Department of Education, and other Kindy Uplift Advisors.
  • Content Expertise: Strong understanding of Early Years Learning Framework and Queensland Kindergarten Learning Guidelines.

Key Requirements:

  • Hold an ACECQA approved Bachelor's in Education (Early Childhood) or similar qualification.
  • Excellent practical understanding of the National Quality Framework, legislative and regulatory requirements relevant to early childhood education and care.
  • Commitment to advancing the Early Years Learning Framework and the Queensland Kindergarten Learning Guidelines.
