Risk Assurance Manager Role

The Risk Assurance Manager will be supporting the Non-Financial Risk agenda in ensuring controls are working effectively across the International Premier and Wealth Business (IWPB) business.

This role is responsible for delivering reviews set in the IWPB Controls Assurance Plan as well as monitoring IWPB's controls in line with the controls assurance framework.

Key requirements include high attention to detail, strong written and verbal communication, and effective stakeholder management skills.

  • Support the business by conducting reviews, executing the controls assurance program, and testing the effectiveness of the control environment across WPB.
  • Conduct controls assurance activities across IWPB, including thematic reviews, and ensure the implementation of controls across the business.
  • Proactively identify and raise awareness for any gaps in controls to line manager and senior management through data analysis.
  • Conduct remediation activities relating to control weaknesses across IWPB.
  • Maintain effective oversight to quality/standards of controls across IWPB.
