The role of a Finance Business Partner is to provide strategic financial guidance and support to the organization.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading a small team of finance professionals in delivering accounting activities, including project financials, reconciliations, and reporting.
  • Providing guidance on complex accounting matters, maintaining compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
  • Overseeing project financials, including sales and cost accruals, unbilled transactions, and accrued income.
  • Partnering with finance and cost control teams to drive timely and accurate monthly project closures.
  • Managing standard costing processes and monthly reconciliations.
  • Overseeing payroll charge reconciliations, accruals for revenue/cost, annual leave, and long-service leave.
  • Managing cashflow planning and liquidity reporting to ensure timely vendor payments, payroll, and tax obligations across Australia and New Zealand.
