Job Description

The Assistant Store Manager will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our boutique. This individual will be responsible for leading and motivating the sales team to achieve outstanding results.

This position requires an individual with exceptional leadership skills, who can inspire and empower others to deliver exceptional customer service.

As the right-hand person to the Store Manager, this individual will be responsible for managing day-to-day operations, including stock management, online fulfilment, and stock loss prevention.

Additionally, this role involves supporting the Store Manager during the recruitment, onboarding, and induction of new employees.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring store performance meets expectations through effective leadership and motivation of the sales team.
  • Inspiring sales team members to embody our values: Customers, Community, Relationships, and Learning.
  • Leading the operation when the Store Manager is unavailable.
  • Managing stock effectively, including online orders, stocktakes, delivery processing, and preventing stock loss.
  • Providing first-class customer service at all times.
  • Supporting the Store Manager in recruiting, onboarding, and inducting new employees.
Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Experience in fashion retail (advantageous but not essential).
  • Supervisor or Assistant Manager experience (advantageous but not essential).
  • A passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Strong administration skills and ability to multitask.
  • Availability to work with an ASICS card (paid for by us).
