Payroll Manager

We are seeking an experienced Payroll Manager to lead the implementation of our new payroll system. As the organisation embarks on the selection and implementation of an integrated HCMS, we need a highly skilled professional with a robust background in payroll processing and implementation of payroll solutions.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the implementation and transition of the payroll system
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of the payroll system with other operational processes
- Ensure payroll activities are conducted in strict compliance with relevant legislation, awards and agreements
- Provide advice, coaching and mentorship to internal clients and staff in relation to payroll matters
You are a highly organised and experienced Payroll Manager who has worked in large complex organisations and led a small payroll team effectively on a day-to-day basis and through periods of change. You have strong interpersonal and communication skills that enable you to build effective relationships across the organisation.
You are proactive operator who is focused on continuous improvement of processes, policies and systems. You lead by example and set high standards with a customer centric approach to your problem solving and interactions with your internal and external clients.
Requirements- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline of Accounting, Finance, Economics, Human Resources
- Strong computer literacy (MS Word, Excel) coupled with sound written and communication skills
- Demonstrate your ability to embrace the mission and ethos of the St Vincent De Paul Society and ensure that our values are embraced in all aspects of performing your role
