About the Financial Management Position

This is a critical role within our organization, responsible for providing comprehensive financial management support. The successful candidate will be accountable for delivering high-quality financial services, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, forecasts, and budgets.

  • Financial Reporting:
    • Provide end-to-end financial support, including preparing and submitting regular financial reports.
  • Budgeting:
    • Develop and manage monthly financial budgets, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
  • IFRS 15 Compliance:
    • Ensure revenue recognition in accordance with IFRS 15 guidelines.
  • Task Order Management:
    • Maintain a summary of all tasking orders for whole-program financial oversight.
Your Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage with internal and external stakeholders. Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing customer-facing financial reporting requirements.
  • Monitoring and reporting on key performance indicators (KPIs) for 'fee at risk'.
  • Generating invoices and maintaining accurate financial records.
  • Fostering strong relationships with key stakeholders, including internal and external customers.
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and company policies.

To excel in this role, you will require strong Excel, Power Point, PowerBI, and Agresso skills, as well as the ability to communicate complex financial information to both technical and non-technical audiences.

A defence security clearance is required for this position, and applicants must hold an Australian Defence Security Clearance to NV1/NV2 level.
