Clinical Documentation Quality Specialist

Clinical documentation is crucial for safe and effective patient care.
As a Clinical Documentation Quality Specialist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and quality of clinical documentation by reviewing and improving clinical records. You will work closely with clinicians to identify discrepancies and omissions that may impact patient care or funding.
Your expertise will help reduce coding queries and improve documentation practices, leading to better patient outcomes. To succeed in this role, you must be able to:
- Conduct concurrent and retrospective reviews of inpatient records;
- Attend clinical meetings to advise on accurate and comprehensive clinical documentation;
- Support clinical staff in responding to coding queries and applying learnings to improve documentation.
This is a 12-month opportunity where you can leverage your passion for quality improvement and engagement skills to make a meaningful impact.
