Job Description

The person in this role will represent our organization and provide services outlined below:

  • Applies knowledge of professional nursing principles, procedures, and techniques to patient care.
  • Provides skill and alertness in reacting to emergency situations.
  • Possesses knowledge of training and teaching methods.
  • Demonstrates sufficient interpersonal skills to develop a rapport with patients and co-workers.
  • Utilizes practical knowledge of laboratory procedures and guidelines; skill in collecting a variety of samples.
  • Performs professional routine, urgent, and emergency care.
  • Tries and provides medical advice to patients within the scope of practice.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this position, you will need to have:

  • Expertise in clinical practice and a collaborative spirit to a team that values patient-centered care.
  • Strong communication skills and empathetic demeanor.
  • A minimum of three (3) years of experience working as a registered/licensed nurse.
  • A medical license to practice nursing in Australia.
  • A bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
  • Current CPR certification.
