Are you looking for a challenging and rewarding career in construction law? We have an exciting opportunity for an Associate or Senior Associate to join our Disputes & Investigations team. As a member of this dynamic team, you will work closely with lawyers across all of our offices to gain exposure to the most complex and interesting disputes and proceedings in the sector.

Our construction disputes team delivers commercially minded and strategic solutions to industry-leading clients to help solve and resolve their dispute across the whole spectrum of dispute resolution processes. You will work across a range of sectors including infrastructure, real estate, mining and the energy transition.

As an Associate or Senior Associate in our Construction Disputes practice, you will:

  • Advise and represent clients in formal proceedings in the Supreme Court and Federal Court

  • Manage domestic and international arbitration proceedings

  • Manage claims and disputes arising during the delivery phase of major projects

  • Be involved with adjudication proceedings under security of payment legislation

  • Work across various alternative dispute resolution processes including mediation, expert determination and contractual dispute advisory boards.

**Required Skills and Qualifications:**

  • Experience in construction law at a well-regarded firm

  • Ability to effectively manage matters and advise clients on dispute resolution strategies

  • Desire and ability to grow as a lawyer and leader

  • Experience working with clients during litigation or large arbitration proceedings

  • Ability to establish professional relationships with clients and internal stakeholders
