Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced HR Director to lead our Human Resources team. As a key member of the organisation, you will be responsible for providing strategic guidance and support to all levels of the business.

  • Provide expert advice and consultancy services on human resources matters including employee relations, learning and development, recruitment, and performance management.
  • Cover all aspects of Human Resources including industrial relations, payroll, work health and safety, and policy development.
  • Develop and implement HR strategies that align with business objectives and contribute to the achievement of organisational goals.
  • Manage a small team and provide coaching, mentoring, and leadership to ensure high performance and productivity.

Requirements:

  • A tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline, e.g., human resources, employee relations, law.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of employment legislation and ability to interpret Awards, Agreements, legislation, and policies.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to communicate with and influence a range of different stakeholders.
  • Experience in performance management, investigation, and disciplinary processes.
  • Exceptional organisation skills and ability to meet strict deadlines.
  • Experience with systems and improving systems of work.
  • A proactive leader who takes initiative and is self-motivated.
  • Ability to lead, develop, coach, and motivate a team and other employees.
  • Substantial human resources experience in a multi-disciplined organisation.
  • Experience in end-to-end recruitment and HRIS/Payroll system.
  • Experience in people management related to Human Resources functions.
  • National Police Clearance (ability to obtain).
