About the Role:

  • Preparing high-quality fillings daily
  • Decorating products to meet our standards
  • Working with premium ingredients such as chocolate and creams
  • Practicing workplace health and safety at all times
  • General cleaning during shifts and prior to end of shift in the BOH area
  • Assisting front-of-house staff during busy periods if required
  • Producing and maintaining consistently high levels of food preparation and presentation
  • Undertaking general duties such as working to production schedules and meeting daily outputs, stock rotation, correct storage of products, record-keeping relevant to food production, temperature control, labeling products, cleaning and sanitizing equipment and kitchens, reporting of anything that may affect product quality or OH&S in order to comply with laws and company policies

Requirements:

  • A passion for delivering high-quality products
  • Previous experience within the dessert industry (not essential)
  • Proven ability to follow recipes and work to standards
  • Contributing to the efficient and profitable operation of the business
  • Maintaining high levels of hygiene, health, and safety
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Flexibility to work a 7-day roster including weekends and public holidays
