Develop a career in scrap metal recycling with our company.

As a trading representative, you will be responsible for developing and managing client relationships across South-East Queensland, helping to strengthen our position in a highly competitive market.

  • Take ownership of procuring and pricing ferrous and/or non-ferrous materials within guidelines as determined by the Trading Manager and legislative requirements.\
  • Monitor key performance metrics (price, intake, transport, bins allocations, etc.) and collaborate with the Transport department on site logistics to ensure all targets are met.\
  • Complete monthly reports in a timely and accurate manner and participate in meetings to discuss and review results as required with both internal teams and customers.\
  • Act as the key liaison between customers and internal teams, solving issues while maintaining positive client relationships.\
  • Manage costs in line with financial policies and procedures.\

    • 3+ years in an Account Management, Sales, or Buyer role.\
    • A bachelor's degree majoring in Commerce, Business, Marketing, or a related field is highly regarded.\
    • Proven expertise in relationship building, with the ability to quickly build rapport across all levels of the business and external supplier base.\
    • Extensive experience in negotiation and effective closing of deals.\
    • Exceptional interpersonal skills, internal and external stakeholders' management\
    • Analytical approach to identifying market opportunities.\
    • Knowledge and understanding of the recycling industry is highly regarded.\
