Software Quality Assurance Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Software Quality Assurance (SQA) Engineer to join our high-performing digital team. As an SQA Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring the delivery of seamless travel experiences.

  • You will develop and own the quality planning strategy for your projects.
  • Collaborate with product development teams to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Identify and resolve QA bottlenecks, suggesting improvements to enhance delivery speed and quality.
  • Investigate and improve product quality to drive higher customer satisfaction.
  • Design, execute, and maintain manual and automated testing for APIs, web, and mobile platforms.
  • Monitor and report quality metrics to senior management.
  • Oversee continuous improvement initiatives across testing processes.

The ideal candidate will have 5-10 years of experience creating and maintaining automated software testing solutions for complex web, mobile, and backend platforms. Strong hands-on experience with Cypress and Rest Assured is also required.

This is a 6-month rolling contract based in Sydney, with opportunities for extension. We welcome individuals from diverse backgrounds to apply. Our company values diversity, equality, and environmental responsibility.

Job Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
  • 5-10 years of experience in software quality assurance.
  • Strong knowledge of testing methodologies and techniques.
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Skills:
  • Performance and accessibility testing experience.
  • Experience with Git, GitHub, CI/CD pipelines, and Atlassian tools.
  • End-to-end testing expertise across manual, integration, and system testing.
  • Ability to engage and influence technical stakeholders.
