Key Responsibilities

Selection Criteria
  • Appropriate qualifications in English and a teaching method in English.
  • Experience in, and a demonstrated passion for teaching English.
  • A proven record as an outstanding English teacher or teacher candidate.
  • Success in fostering a love of learning and a commitment to excellence in students.
  • A proven ability to develop productive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
  • Excellent organisational, administrative, and presentation skills.
  • An understanding of the Lowther Hall context and requirements for ensuring child safety.
Additional Requirements
  • Current VIT registration.
  • Current Level 2 First Aid and CPR Certificate, with a commitment to ongoing training.
  • Current anaphylaxis management certificate.
  • Current asthma management certificate.
  • Willingness to undertake a National Criminal History Record Check upon appointment.
