The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills and be able to effectively collaborate with campus support teams, security personnel, students, and staff. You will also possess strong problem-solving skills and be able to think critically in high-pressure situations.

In this role, you will be responsible for conducting regular patrols of campus to identify potential safety risks and implementing strategies to mitigate them. You will also participate in emergency drills and ensure that all occupants are safely evacuated in the event of an emergency.

You will work closely with the campus support team to develop and implement emergency response plans and provide training to new and existing staff members. Your ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate complex information to stakeholders is essential.

To be successful in this role, you must hold a current Victorian Private Security Licence and have the ability to obtain a Control Room Operator accreditation. Advanced First Aid and Mental Health Training are also mandatory.
