Painting Professional Wanted

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Painter to deliver high-quality commercial painting services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare surfaces for painting using specialized equipment such as high pressure washing machines, grinders, sanders, and scrapers.
  • Apply paint coatings in accordance with customer requirements and scope of work.
  • Work at heights, including working from ladders and scaffolds up to 4m high, adhering to safety protocols and regulations.
  • Operate elevated work platforms, such as scissor lifts, boom lifts, and knuckle booms, ensuring safe and efficient operations.
  • Handle painting materials, coatings, cleaning solvents, fillers, adhesives, coverings, barricades, signs, hazardous materials, and waste in line with SWMS and Safety Data Sheets.
Requirements:
  • Certificate III in Painting and Decorating or equivalent qualification.
  • Minimum 2+ years experience in commercial painting, preferably with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and quality assurance.
  • Construction induction card and Working at Heights certification.
  • EWP license under and over 11m.
  • Open drivers licence and ability to operate high pressure washing machines and paint spraying machines.
  • Proven track record of identifying workplace hazards and mitigating risks.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Pass a Police Check and hold a valid Working with Children Card.
