Job Title

As a Supply Officer, you will work in a team responsible for efficiently operating the stores section.

  • You will receive, store and distribute medical and general stores throughout the hospital with high accuracy.
  • Unload vehicles, unpack cartons and check stock as directed to various departments in the hospital.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for key departments/wards ensuring adequate stock is available and maintained.
  • This position requires a hands-on approach, demanding strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and maintain stores operations in the hospital including accurate receiving, storing and distributing stock to departments.
  • Unload vehicles, unpack, check and deliver stock as directed to various departments.
  • Maintain stock levels across assigned departments requiring effective time management and organization skills.
  • Work within a team and independently as required, using computerized stock control systems.
Essential Skills and Qualifications
  • Experience working in a warehouse/stores environment using computerized stock control systems.
  • Proven accuracy in a busy stores environment with strong organizational skills.
  • Positive attitude with the ability to work in a team or independently, utilizing good communication skills.
  • Good organizational and time management skills with flexibility in working hours.
  • Ability to liaise, negotiate and problem-solve with various stakeholders effectively.
